This learning area covers important aspects of language development and provides the foundation for literacy. This learning area focuses on children’s developing competence in talking and listening and becoming readers and writers in English Language. Most importantly there is a special focus on English phonics to build a strong foundation for future literacy and learning.
This learning domain covers important aspects of understanding mathematics and provides the foundation for numeracy. This area focuses on achievement and application through practical activities and hands-on activities to build a strong foundation for future literacy and numeracy learning.
This learning area focuses on development of children’s knowledge and understanding of their environment, other people and features of the natural and “human” world. This learning area provides a foundation for historical, geographical, scientific and technological learning.
In this area Children are facilitated gradually to acquire competence in Urdu, making use where appropriate, for developing understanding and skills in languages. This learning area focuses on children’s developing competence in talking and listening and becoming readers and writers.
